The Rantasipi Pohjanhovi is a large, modern hotel with a white exterior situated in the center of Rovaniemi on the banks of the river Kemijoki, just eight kilometers from the Arctic Circle. Simple birch wood furniture and warm colored fabrics with contemporary patterns characterize the 212 guestrooms. All have bathrooms with hairdryers and makeup mirrors, televisions, pay movie channels, minibars and direct dial telephones.
The hotel's leisure facilities include four saunas, one of which is big enough for 15 people, a relaxation area and a 19 meter indoor swimming pool. The nearest airport is Rovaniemi, which is eight kilometers and a 15 minute drive away.
