The Hotel Sydney is a whitewashed, Venetian inspired building located in the Laganas resort, 200 metres from the beach and nightlife. The 24 guestrooms feature simple, functional decor with dark wood furniture, bright walls and terracotta floors. They all offer balconies, air conditioning, direct dial phones, sofabeds, wake up calls and showers.
Guests of the hotel can enjoy breakfast on the garden terrace, and try out the many water sports offered on the beach. They can also order drinks from the bar, and there is a television in the lounge. Practical amenities include a 24 hour desk, and a safe deposit box for valuables. The hotel's excellent location means that the National Marine Park is just 400 metres away, Laganas' resort centre with its shops, bars and nightlife is 900 metres away, the Keri Caves are seven kilometres away, and the island's capital of Zakynthos is eight kilometres distance. Zakynthos Airport is four kilometres away, an approximate driving time of five minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the Arrivals terminal, and cost approximately 11 EUR to the hotel. The best way to see around the island is to hire a car.
Driving directions: From the airport turn left at the highway and drive for approximately four kilometres (2.5 miles). Turn left at the intersection for Laganas and continue to the Kalamaki road junction. Turn left and continue for one kilometre towards the river. Turn right and the hotel is 100 metres from here.
