A modern hotel built in traditional style, the Poseidon is located on the beachfront in the village of Kamari on the east coast of Santorini, next to the volcanic beaches with their lava coloured sand and the resort's shops, bars and restaurants. The 32 guestrooms are simply decorated with colourful accents and cool tiled floors. All are equipped with telephones, televisions, private bathrooms, refrigerators and safes.
After buffet breakfast, guests can soak up the sun by the swimming pool or relax under the shady parasols. There is a poolside bar which serves refreshing drinks as well as light snacks; inside the hotel guests can watch television in the lounge or ask the multilingual staff about sightseeing opportunities. The crystal clear waters of Kamari beach are right in front of the hotel and Fira, the capital of Santorini, is nine kilometres away. Santorini Airport is just 4 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 5 minutes.

Taxis are readily available from the Arrivals terminal and cost approximately 10 EUR to get to the hotel. There is much to explore by foot where the hotel is located otherwise taxis are readily available to visit other parts of the island.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the signs for Kamari where the hotel is situated on the beach front.
