Lombok's first resort hotel, the Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort, enjoys a prime location on Senggigi Beach on the island of Lombok, Indonesia, east of Bali. Lesser known and not as developed as Bali, Lombok features picturesque mountainside landscapes and untouched white sand beaches. The town of Senggigi runs along nearly 10 kilometers of coastal road and is the most populated area of Lombok, with restaurants and small cafes lining the colorful main beach. The Sheraton hotel in Senggigi is close to the Batu Bolong Temple, a hilltop temple with spectacular views of the sunset. The hotel is also close to venues for diving, snorkeling and golf.
