The Clarion Hotel Sligo is a strikingly contemporary hotel set in a grand property built in 1884 and set in landscaped gardens situated within two kilometres of the shopping, museums and golf of Sligo. The 167 guestrooms have contemporary decor in neutral colours and a minimalist style with light oak furnishings. All guestrooms have minibars, satellite television with pay movie channels, complimentary high speed Internet ports, direct dial phones, coffee and tea making facilities and bathrooms with power showers, bathrobes, hair dryers and designer toiletries.
In the SanoVitae Health and Spa Club, guests of the Clarion Sligo can enjoy a variety of beauty, spa and massage treatments. The club has a 20 metre swimming pool and children's pool, and the spacious gym has over 60 pieces of cardiovascular equipment so that guests can stay in shape while staying in Sligo.
At the Clarion Hotel Sligo guests can also work up a sweat in the aerobics room and then unwind with a session in the sauna, steam room or hot tub. In the Singergie Restaurant guests can enjoy Italian influenced modern European cuisine in a restaurant with smart contemporary decor. Kudos is a lively bar restaurant where guests can sample Asian dishes or snacks cooked at an open plan wok station. Children are welcome and there is a playroom, kids cinema and games room. Parents will appreciate the babysitting service. Concierge services are on offer at the 24 hour front desk and there is free parking for those arriving by car. There is plenty to do in the area with the Sligo County Museum, Rosses Point Golf Course, Seaweed baths, Horse riding and a wild bird sanctuary all within 10 kilometres.
