Location. The Hotel Ristorante La Tonnara is located on the Thyrrhenian coast in Calabria, Italy, 20 metres from a palm tree lined private beach and three kilometres from the coastal resort of Amantea. The historic town of Fiumefreddo is 15 kilometres away, while Paola is 25 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. La Tonnara is a modern seafront property with a private beach and a seasonal outdoor pool, open during the summer months. The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace with sea views. Hotel staff are on hand to help arrange sightseeing tours in the Calabria Region. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
Open for lunch and dinner, La Tonnara's onsite restaurant specialises in locally caught fish and shellfish, and offers a selection of regional dishes. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room each morning. The hotel also houses a lounge bar.
Wireless Internet access is available throughout the property. The hotel's conference rooms can accommodate small groups.
La Tonnara offers tennis courts, and bicycles can be rented on site. Recreational activities and babysitting services can be arranged for children under 10 during July and August.

Expert tip. Amantea is divided in two: the old, historic district with its Byzantine castle is situated on the hilltop. The castle affords views of the shops and restaurants that line the main street of the modern city.
