Location. The Hotel Italia is located in Cortona, Italy, within 200 metres of the town's Duomo and 500 metres from the church of San Marco a Cortona. Camucia train station is located five kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Hotel Italia is a boutique hotel set in the centre of the historic area of town in a 15th century mansion opening to a courtyard. The top floor features a roof terrace overlooking the Valdichiana Plain and Lake Trasimeno, which also offers a selection of Italian wine.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily at the hotel.
The hotel rents bicycles on site for guests to explore the town. A golf driving range, horse riding and tennis court are available nearby. The hotel also organises ayurveda massages in the Ghibellino Grotto.

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to Hotel Italia is 100 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. From here direct trains run to Cortona. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Cortona is compact and best explored on foot. La Ferroviaria Italiana buses operate throughout the town centre. A train station links the town with the rest of Italy.
