Location. The seafront Miramare E Castello Hotel on the island of Ischia, Italy, is located between the Bay of Naples and the Gulf of Gaeta in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Local shopping streets are 200 metres away and the harbour is one kilometre away.

Hotel Features. Overlooking the Sorrento peninsula, the island of Capri and Ischia's Castello Aragonese, the Miramare E Castello Hotel has a private beach where guests enjoy use of sun loungers and parasols. There is complimentary parking on site.

At the Miramare E Castello Hotel, Mediterranean cuisine and 150 wines are offered at Miramare Restaurant for lunch and dinner. At night, candlelit tables are set out on the terrace, which enjoys beach and island views. Seafood specialities are prepared at the beachside Fine Restaurant Miramare on the pier. This restaurant is decorated with wrought iron furnishings and terracotta tiled floors. The hotel also has a bar and beachside snack bar. Complimentary buffet breakfast is served on the hotel's fourth floor terrace with sea views.

Driving Directions

From Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP):
Distance to Miramare E Castello Hotel is 40 kilometres, approximately one hour's drive.

Getting there. Taxis depart for Naples Port (at the bottom of Piazza Municipio) from where hydrofoils and ferries sail to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and the islands of Ischia and Capri. On arrival in Ischia, guests can take a taxi to the hotel. The hotel can arrange limousine, motorboat and helicopter transport from the airport to the island of Ischia. A taxi from Porto d'Ischia to the hotel costs about 10 EUR.

Getting around. The hotel is on Via Pontiano, 1 kilometre from the harbour. The island is easily explored on foot, by bicycle or by private car. The hotel offers complimentary parking.
