Location. A small, villa style residence, the Hotel Kursaal is located ten kilometres west of Naples in Agnano, a quiet, green neighbourhood four kilometres from ancient Pozzuli and the Solfatara volcano. Naples Capodichino Airport is five kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes.
Hotel Features. Offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Hotel Kursaal's roof garden provides a tranquil spot in which to relax with over drinks from the bar. The hotel also public Internet access, dry cleaning and porter services, and offers discounted access to the nearby Terme di Agnano spa and fitness centre. The concierge is on hand to offer sightseeing advice. Visitors arriving by car will find complimentary garage parking on site.
The Agnano racecourse is 100 metres from the hotel, and the Agnano district is also home to an Equestrian, making the hotel something of a haven for horse lovers.
Guestrooms. The hotel offers ten air conditioned guestrooms located on two floors, all of which feature antique style decor in warm Mediterranean earth tones, with parquet floors and modern furnishings. All open onto balconies and come equipped with multi line phones, satellite television with premium channels and dial up, high speed and wireless Internet connections. Other amenities include minibars, coffee/tea making facilities and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms include showers, telephones, televisions, robes and designer toiletries.
Expert Tip. Families can spend a day at the Edenlandia theme park, 800 metres away, which occupies over 50,000 square metres and boasts 25 rides. Four kilometres away is the impressive Solfatara volcano. Previously considered by the ancients to be an entrance to Hell, it is now rather more benign but still noted for its explosions of sulphuric gases, carbon vapours and small eruptions of boiling mud.

Getting there. Buses run from the airport to Naples Central train station, arriving on Piazza Municipio, the main hub for transport services. The stations nearest to Hotel Kursaal are Bagnoli and Edenlandia, both of which are within one kilometre.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the Tangenziale Fastway and take exit no. 11 (Agnano). Take the first left, then turn left again, and after 50 metres take the first right. Continue for one kilometre, and the hotel is on the right.
