Location. The Hotel Italia e Lido is located in the centre of Rapallo, Italy, opposite the town's medieval castle and 300 metres from the train station. Chiavari is 14 kilometres away, and Genova is at a 34 kilometre distance.
Hotel Features. Set directly on the promenade, the Hotel Italia e Lido is housed in traditional Mediterranean style property and extends to a seafront private deck for sunbathing. The also hotel offers an Internet point, and houses a bar and a television room. Those arriving by car will find limited onsite parking available (complimentary), and garage parking nearby (surcharge).
The Hotel Italia e Lido houses the Grande Italia restaurant overlooking the promenade and extending to a terrace area, which serves a range of regional dishes prepared from local ingredients.

Guestrooms. The 50 guestrooms have modern Mediterranean style decor with patterned fabrics, and include air conditioning, satellite television, telephones, and hair dryers. Some rooms open to balconies overlooking the gulf.
Expert Tip. A traditional fishing village, Portofino, 10 kilometres from the hotel, is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful ports in the Mediterranean. Boasting a waterfront thronging with restaurants and cafes, the town has long been a haven for the rich and famous.

From Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA):
Distance to the Hotel Italia e Lido is 60 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The Volabus service runs hourly between the airport and Brignole and Stazione Principe railway stations. Travellers can take the Trenitalia trains from Stazione Principe to Rapallo. Frequent trains run between Genova and the Italian Riviera resorts.
Getting around. Rapallo's compact centre can be explored on foot.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the A12 in the direction of Livorno.
Exit for Rapallo and continue straight to the seaside promenade.
Turn left and continue until reaching the medieval castle at the end of the promenade.
