Location. The Il Borgo De Vescine hotel is located in a 13th century Etruscan hamlet in the Gallo Nero area of the Chianti valley wine region. The hotel is seven kilometers from the Fortress and Via delle Volte of Siena, Italy. The historic Oratoria di San Lorenzo is 15 kilometers from this hotel.
Hotel Features. Breakfasts are served each morning on an open air terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The on site restaurant serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, which is then paired with choice Chianti and Paladin wines from the neighboring historic wine cellar. The adjacent cocktail bar on the property boasts a library and fireplace lounge. Recreational amenities at the Il Borgo De Vescine include an outdoor pool overlooking the Chianti valley, a private tennis court and mountain bike rentals.
Guestrooms. The Il Borgo De Vescine's 23 guestrooms are staged in individual buildings that were once residences in the old Chianti village. Each rooms overlooks the Chianti valley and parkland from antique d�cor and wooden beamed ceilings. Rooms also include cable television. Minibars are also offered in each room.
