This delightful seven room hotel is located in the heart of colonial Merida. An oasis of urban tranquility, the original buildings date back to a 19th century nobleman's estate that have been recently restored and embellished with modern touches to combine the best of five star hotel luxury with the timeless grace of the palatial haciendas of the Yucatan. The Villas @ Merida was built around a central courtyard and huge gardens, much of the original structure has been retained: the arched verandas, high beamed ceilings, enormous wooden doors and cool floor tiles. Walls coated in hues of deep red, sky blue and ochre add to the hotel's contemporary character. The Villa @ Merida is the place to stay for the discerning traveler. A complimentary Continental breakfast and fresh coffee is available each morning.
